Alesana put final touches on ‘The Emptiness’

Check out Alesana’s fifth and final studio update for behind-the-scenes footage during the recording of their new album The Emptiness. Back in Portland, Oregon, Alesana brings in all of the guest performers for the album, including a string quartet and several guest vocalists. A 30-second clip of one of the new tracks entitled “The Artist” can be heard at the end of the video.

Alesana has released the first song off the band’s forthcoming album, The Emptiness.

The song, “To Be Scared By An Owl,” can now be streamed at the band’s MySpace page and downloaded on iTunes. Expect the full album release on January 26, 2010 via Fearless Records.
