All Time Low Inspired By The Pointer Sisters?

All Time Low

All Time Low have revealed that their new album will be called Dirty Work during a new interview with MTV.

“Well, the Rolling Stones have a record called Dirty Work, and we were really inspired by that,” drummer Rian Dawson laughed. “And there’s a great movie called ‘Dirty Work,’ too, so obviously, Norm Macdonald was a big influence.”

“Luckily, none of our fans know who the Rolling Stones are,” guitarist Jack Barakat added. “So it’s not a problem.”

Ouch. I guess the band has never heard of Steely Dan or their classic song entitled “Dirty Work”. And what about “Dirty Work” by the Pointer Sisters, and that song of the same title by Hamestorm, or the classic rock band Dirty Work out of Nebraska… Am I missing any?

All Time Low
All Time Low vocalist/guitarist Alex Gaskarth “took a little spill” and suffered a concussion this week at the Gothic Theatre in Denver, Colorado. Alex claims he’ll be OK and not to worry. Luckily for him, the band has the night off until their next show – a sold out performance at The House Of Blues in Chicago, IL on Monday, November 23.

In other news, All Time Low will reportedly release a CD/DVD package of their performance on MTV’s Unplugged. The release date is slated for Jan. 12. Check out the clip below.
